I have always thought that a fresh picked tomato, right off the vine, is one of the quintessential flavors of summer. Most of the time, the only "recipe" I use is a quick rinse before I eat them just the way that they are. However, even I have to admit, that by this point of the season, I am ready for some new ways to use the multitude of tomatoes that are coming out of the garden.
