We enjoy her oatmeal plain, but I love all things peach this time of year. There is a tree full of peaches in the backyard and we can't get enough of them. It was a perfect addition for breakfast.
1 3/4 cup water
1/4 t salt
1 cup Old Fashioned Oats
1/4 Brown Sugar
1 t butter
1 t cinnamon
1/4 t Ginger
1/8 t nutmeg
1/4 cup Peaches, cut into bite size pieces
1. Bring the water and salt to a rolling boil.
2. Add the oats and reduce the heat to medium. Cook for 5 minutes and stir occasionally.
3. Add butter, sugar, and spices. Remove from the heat and cover. Let sit for 2-3 minutes. Stir to thoroughly combine.
4. Scoop into individual bowls. Add milk and peaches.
